Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Join Mahomes’ Birthday Dinner at 1587 Prime

Taylor Swift cut a sharp figure in a sleek black outfit as she walked beside Travis Kelce toward the doors of 1587 Prime, while Kelce briefly broke stride to wave to fans gathered outside the Kansas City steakhouse.

Inside, the scene was a private birthday celebration for Patrick Mahomes on September 18, 2026, held at 1587 Prime — the upscale spot he co-owns with Kelce — with Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes among the guests.

Why This Night Matters

The dinner came on the eve of a high-profile Sunday Night Football matchup, with the Chiefs set to host the Indianapolis Colts at Arrowhead on September 20. With the team in the spotlight and the season already under intense scrutiny, Mahomes’ inner circle choosing to gather at their own restaurant underscored just how tightly their football, business, and personal lives are now intertwined.

Swift and Kelce Arrive at 1587 Prime

PlanetStroke staff captured Swift and Kelce arriving outside 1587 Prime during the celebration.

Swift kept close to Kelce as they walked toward the entrance, her black look contrasting with his more relaxed game-week demeanor. Kelce acknowledged the small crowd with a wave before the two disappeared inside.

Birthday at the Co-Owned Steakhouse

Mahomes marked his birthday with family and friends at 1587 Prime, which he and Kelce co-own in Kansas City.

Brittany Mahomes was part of the gathering. In the past year, Swift and Brittany have gone from sharing suites at Arrowhead to trading choreographed celebrations and sitting side by side at marquee games, a friendship that has steadily played out in front of cameras and social media.

Sunday Night Football on Deck

Kansas City will host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football on September 20. When asked whether Swift would attend Sunday’s game, Kelce smiled, paused, and declined to answer — a non-response that did little to quiet speculation about whether she’ll be back in the Arrowhead suites for prime time.

Kickoff between the Chiefs and Colts is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium, less than 24 hours after Mahomes and his closest circle filled tables at the steakhouse he and Kelce built together.
